Makoto Niijima is the trusted priestess inreal person 5. He is also a romantic character. Knowledge level 3 (Erudition) is required to start your Confidant.

Maxing out your familiar will unlock Cybele's Fusion. The player will also receive an item from her towards the end of the game that unlocks Shadow Factoring abilities once Makoto's Familiar is unlocked in New Game Plus.

Availability of Makoto Niijima

You can spend time with Makoto on Tuesday (Day), Thursday (Day), Saturday (Day), and Sunday (Day). On rainy days, Makoto is available regardless of day or night. She is on the third floor of Shujin Academy, near the student council room. Some days she can be found in front of the school gate.
