now it's herehow to write a resumefor dependent jobs:
1. Start your clerk resume with a personal statement.
start with your resumewith a personal statement. topersonal statement or resume profile, is where you introduce yourself as an employee, tell your potential new employer what you bring to the table as a new dependent, and show how your work-related goals align with company objectives. To write one, simply answer the following questions:
- What type of retailer are you? How long have you been working and in what sectors?
- What is one accomplishment at work that you are particularly proud of? Describe two if you can.
- What do you hope to achieve in this new role? Think from the perspective of your new employer.
You have a total of 3-4 sentences and 50-150 words to work with, no more. Write without using personal pronouns (I, my, etc.). Keep things as short and to the point as possible. Be sure to include the name of the company you are applying to and the name of the position you are seeking.
Your application may be processed by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) before anyone gets to it. That is why it is very important to mention these things. Also try using advertising keywords, but don't force it if it doesn't feel natural to you. You must write a new personal statement for each ad.
Your personal statement appears first on your store's salesperson's resume, but it's best to write it last (which is why it's also known ascurriculum summary). It will be much easier if you have your job descriptions in front of you and practice some performance statement writing. So keep that in mind and come back to it later.

2. Add a work experience section to your store clerk's resume.
Use a chronological format for yourPart of the curriculum with professional experience.. This means that you start with his most recent job description and then work backwards through his employment history. This is what most store managers are used to seeing and prefer. It will also be more easily processed by an ATS.
Use the following template to create a subheading for each job description:
[Freight]
[Company name, location]
[Employment data]
Then write up to six bullet points for each job description. Quantify everything you can and focus on what you have achieved, not on the tasks of the clerk. Wearperformance statementsto help you with this. See it all in action in the sample store assistant job descriptions below.
If you don't have any significant paid work experience, focus on internships, placements, and volunteer work you've done. Do you have very little experience? Place this section after the teaching section. No experience? so considerwrite a student resumerather.

3. Add an educational section to your sales resume.
use the samereverse orderthat you used in the work experience section here in the education section. If you have a college degree and some experience, you can safely skip high school.
When listing college degrees, include the name of your degree, the years attended (with expected graduation date if you are still a student), and the name of the institution and its location. The same applies to diplomas and certificates. Use this template for any higher education:
[Graduation Class] [Graduation Type] [Course Name], [Graduation Year]
[College name]
When you include high school, list all of your A-Levels by subject, the years you studied them, the name of the school, and its location. For GCSEs, simply state how many you have passed, the years you completed them, the name of the school and its location.
Be sure to include Maths and English when reporting how many GCSEs you have completed. Retailers need good communication and math skills, so employers will often (but not always) want you to pass a minimum of math and English.
If you have little work experience, consider adding bullet points here to highlight your accomplishments.extracurricular activitiesor areas of excellence while you study.

4. Show off your sales clerk skills on your resume
Anyone can make a list of impressive shopping assistant skills. You are going to do something different to really stand out from the crowd. To get started, put your job ad and resume aside and open a new document. List as many sellers in your store and other sellers as possible, transferable, skills you can.
Look for a combination of hard, technical andinterpersonal skills. Stop when you run out of ideas. You can come back and add to this list in the coming months, if not years. Now add a sentence to each skill that describes exactly how you demonstrated that skill on the job. This is the part that really sets you apart.
If you can't show that you've demonstrated a specific skill, cross it off your list until you can. Save this file. It's useful for future job applications and your store employee's cover letter. Go back to their current job posting and see what skills they are looking for.
Copy enough skills from your master list to cover at least the skills required in the ad. Do not forget about communication andIT skills. See the example below for inspiration.
